Next Care Urgent Care
What a 2011 ride this has been! I began the year ending a partnership and launching a new business, (well, same business, different name). Anyway, after designing a new logo, business, cards, setting up all the social media tools, a new website, moving and remodeling a brand new larger office, and marketing my little fingers to the bone, Iconic Design Studio has had a pretty dadgum good year.
Iconic Design Studio was awarded “The Most Innovative Facility Design for The Year 2011″ by Behavioral Healthcare Magazine May | July issue. Partnered with Saemisch DiBella Architects, our team created a modern healthcare facility to deliver mentor-ship, support, and counseling to those who seek to defeat addiction issues. We are very proud of our accomplishments in creating a great healing environment. Saemisch DiBella and IDS also teamed up to design Mountain Health and Wellness. Located in Apache Junction, this 35,000 sf facility, dedicated to the treatment and success of folks who are challenged with various mental disorders, including addiction.
We completed Paradise Valley Hospital lobby remodel, did a small project for their Emergency Department, provided design services for a small modern healthcare surgicenter, an Endoscopy Center and Clinic, Blissful Yoga, and a national Urgent Care Facility, a small airline | aviation FBO, a real-estate training facility, an international school, Crescent Crown Distributing for LGE, Courtland Homes for LGE, Surprise Medical Plaza at the City for Ensemble Devman, Adelante Health Services for LGE, a 2,000 SF State of the Art Showroom for DMTK Properties to provide access for the architectural and design community and the manufacturer reps, who might need a place to meet their clients, hold events, and in general to support the A&D community in Phoenix. We worked with United States Digital Design, and Sandia, similar companies, in that they are very high tech and involved with government security and safety.
I completed a Telemetry Floor for Chandler Regional | Mercy Gilbert, and we are finalizing an orthodontist office. The ortho office manager is a doll, and makes my day every-time I get to chat with her.
The 2012 future looks bright for IDS, with an 85,000 SF health-care facility waiting in the wings, a memory care prototype, the promise of two aviation FBO tenant improvement expansion, and projects, that are at this writing, a twinkle in some investor’s eye.
IDS is grateful to all our clients for the faith and confidence they place in our abilities to provide their design needs. We honor their business.
Finally, my smart and beautiful daughter-in-law, whom I admire and adore, and my very cool son, have made me a grandmother, A.K.A “Birdie” That pretty much says it all for me.
So with the indomitable American Spirit, I say bring it on 2012! Birdie is ready to Roll!
